A Dedicated Computer for Ising-like Spin Glass Models
We present a parallel machine, based on programmable devices, dedicated to simulate spin glass models with Z2 variables and short range interaction. A working prototype is described for two lattices containing 312 × 312 spins each with an update time of 50 ns per spin. The final version of the three dimensional parallel machine is discussed with spin update time up to 312 ps.
متن کاملDyson’s equations for the (Ising) spin-glass
A complex problem is solved herej we show how to write Dyson's equations for trie (Ising) spin-glass that relate the propagator G ta trie mass operator M. In other words we are able to reduce trie inversion of an ultrametric matrix M to the solution of a Dyson's equation in ail sectors (for the replicon sectcr trie result had already been derived). It turns oui that what renders the problem tra...
متن کاملIsing spin glass models versus Ising models: an effective mapping at high temperature I. General result
We show that, above the critical temperature, if the dimension D of a given Ising spin glass model is sufficiently high, its free energy can be effectively expressed through the free energy of a related Ising model. When, in a large sense, D = ∞, in the paramagnetic phase and on its boundary the mapping is exact. In this limit the method provides a general and simple rule to obtain exactly the ...
متن کاملFinite-size scaling in two-dimensional Ising spin-glass models.
We study the finite-size behavior of two-dimensional spin-glass models. We consider the ±J model for two different values of the probability of the antiferromagnetic bonds and the model with Gaussian distributed couplings. The analysis of renormalization-group invariant quantities, the overlap susceptibility, and the two-point correlation function confirms that they belong to the same universal...
